The Places to Go and Get Certified
You too can become a certified archery instructor in as little as one day. Here is more information on who is offering basic certification courses:

Joint certification is offered for the two initial levels of instructor training, Level 1 and Level 2. Both organizations offer advanced coach certifications as well—USA Archery offers Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5. NFAA offers Advanced Coach and Master Coach.
The style of archery taught to these coaches is called “National Training System” which has been developed by the National Coach for USA Archery. NTS helps archers maintain a consistent shooting form through a proven shooting sequence and body awareness.

National Field Archery Association
Archery Shooters Association (ASA)
ASA periodically offers a “Community Coach” certification that was jointly created with USA Archery and NFAA. This is a 3-Day course that teaches coaching skills to archers. Contact ASA for a schedule and information.Boy Scouts of America
Many BSA archery instructor courses are taught using USAA/NFAA materials and certifications. BSA offers training at their annual National Camp Schools, and within a number of Councils across the country. 4-H shooting sports are managed on a state-by-state basis. Some states offer 4-H certification only, and some combine it with USAA/NFAA certifications. For more information, contact your state’s 4-H shooting sports representative.National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP)
Created especially for school teachers, this instructor training focuses on a specific in-school curriculum using specific equipment and lesson plans. Trainings are most often offered by the state Fish and Wildlife agencies who have partnered with NASP. For more information, contact your state’s NASP representative.
