    Start in the Beginning

    Explore Archery is an innovative education program focused on introducing beginners of all ages and abilities to the lifelong sport of archery. Program options include:

    USA Archery and the Archery Trade Association developed Explore Archery with the support of the Easton Foundations. This program is also supported by the National Field Archery Association (NFAA) and Archery Shooters’ Association (ASA).

    Explore Archery is fun and a perfect fit for participants of any age or ability wanting to get involved in the sport of target archery. If you are new to the sport of archery or a beginner archer looking for an introductory program to sign up for, Explore Archery has what you need to get started. Participants in Explore Archery learn fundamental skills such as range safety and proper shooting form, play exciting games and earn achievement awards.

    Who Can Start a Program?

    You can utilize Explore Archery to either start new archery programs or to complement existing programs. Explore Archery is designed for:

    • Park and Recreation Departments

    • Camps

    • Scouting Groups

    • 4-H Clubs

    • State Agencies

    • Archery Retailers

    • Other Community-Based Organizations

    Explore Archery programs are hosted by parks and recreation departments, community based organizations, state parks, archery retailers and more.
