Easton Newberry Sports Complex will host USA Archery’s South Region Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) camp this August. The camp will feature elite coach Steve Cornell and Regional Coach Phil Graves. Participants will learn the National Training System shot cycle and shooting form. They will also learn and complete goal setting exercises and techniques to better prepare for tournaments. Each participant will undergo extensive video analysis. The ultimate goal of the JOAD Regional Camp will be to help aspiring Junior Olympians to reach their goals.

USA Archery and Easton Foundations will offer the camp from August 18-21, 2011. Archers in attendance should expect to further themselves with the advice of the highly qualified coaching staff, who will be on hand to critique all aspects of shot discipline and provide advice regarding competitive archery. The Easton Newberry Sports Complex offers cutting edge technologies for both compound and re-curve archers.

Participants must register for the camp in advance. To register online, visit usarchery.org, click on the program tab  JOAD (Youth Archery) JOAD Camps. For additional questions or assistance with registration contact Diane Watson, JOAD Coordinator at dwatson@usa.org or by phone at 727-389-3264.

The camp will be held at Easton Newberry Sports Complex, about 1.5 miles North of the intersection SR 26 & Route 27/41 in Newberry, FL. The physical address is 24880 NW 16th Ave. Newberry, FL. 32669.
