Easton Foundations Welcomes LaNola Shepherd


Salt Lake City, Utah — Easton Foundations is pleased to announce the hiring of LaNola Shepherd as Archery Programs Coordinator. “We are excited to welcome LaNola to the Easton Foundations’ team at the Easton Salt Lake Archery Center”, stated Caren Sawyer, Easton Foundations Executive Director.  “We are looking forward to her sharing her archery experience and knowledge with the archers who visit our center and to adding a new dimension to what we offer our customers.”


In her role as Archery Programs Coordinator, LaNola will oversee all archery classes, camps and coaching certifications at the center. In addition, LaNola will be instrumental in developing high quality athlete programs. “I have watched LaNola grow in the sport as an athlete and as a person over the last several years.  Her personality and knowledge combined with her passion for the sport and people will be an inspiration to the community, athletes, and staff she works with”, commented Carl Greene, Easton Foundations Director of Operations.

LaNola comes to us with an impressive career as a shooter taking gold medals at multiple U.S. Indoor Nationals, World Team Trials, Lancaster Classic and at our very own Gator Cup and SoCal Showdown! Not to mention a couple of team bronze medals on the world stage. After a period as a Resident Athlete, LaNola returned to Utah and was offered the position at the Easton Salt Lake Archery Center.  LaNola expressed her enthusiasm on her new position, “I’m excited to be a part of the Easton Foundations family and to have the opportunity to give back to the sport I love so much.”
