Easton Newberry Archery Center

Inaugurated in 2009, the Easton-Newberry Sports Complex spans 100 acres and is co-managed by the Easton Foundations and the City of Newberry, FL. The complex was purpose-built for archery while serving the broader community as a shared-use recreational destination. The center features a dedicated indoor range and an outdoor archery range with a 160-foot covered shooting line and distances out to 90 meters. A 60-acre wooded trail system hosts field archery and 3D ranges with 54 mats across 20 stations, and the indoor range is equipped with electronic timing, competition lighting, and high-speed video cameras for training and instruction.

The center offers classes, group activities, private coaching, and hosts local, state, and national tournaments, with indoor, outdoor, and wooded field ranges serving every type of archer. Programming spans youth, adult, homeschool, adaptive, and competitive tracks, along with instructor certification courses at multiple levels. Whether picking up a bow for the first time or preparing for national competition, archers of every background will find a program suited to their goals.

The facility features shooting lanes at 70, 50, and 9 meters indoors, an outdoor turf range, breakout classrooms, a sports medicine room, an equipment and repairs workshop, and an outdoor observation deck.

Alongside archery classes and group lessons, the center provides private coaching, archery instructor certification, video analysis, private events, seminars, and tournaments. The facility also strengthens Salt Lake City's ability to attract and host major archery competitions, including world cups and world championships that bring significant economic impact and media exposure to the region.

A Network of Centers Built for the Sport

The Easton Foundations centers function as an interconnected system, sharing curriculum, coaching standards, and competitive pathways so that an archer who begins at any one center can grow through the full network. This coordinated approach reflects a long-term investment in the belief that world-class training should be available to any archer willing to put in the work.
